Daniel receives a call from Carly. She has not heard from Melanie. Daniel meets with Chad and Gabi in the town Square. They are both worried that no one has heard from Melanie. Abby and Cameron join them and agree to make phone calls to try to track Melanie down. Meanwhile, Daniel and Chad head to the Salem Police station to report her missing. Daniel gives Hope his keys to his storage locker. Hope will go through Melanie's belongings. When she returns, she tells Daniel and Chad that all of Melanie's personal items were in place. Hope also found Melanie's passport indicating she never left the country to go see Carly. Daniel is beside himself with worry. He becomes upset with Bo when he refers to Melanie as a "hard target". Daniel openly reminds Bo that Melanie is his daughter. Speculations run rampant as Daniel and Chad churn over Melanie's whereabouts.
