Nicole waits in Daniel's office for the DNA test results. EJ arrives and Daniel goes to get the test results from the lab. He confirms that Rafe is the father of Nicole's baby. EJ does not take the news well. He chastises Nicole for the sham and leaves. Nicole is thrilled that Daniel did not challenge her tampering with the tests. When they are alone, Nicole asks him why he let the test stand. Daniel tells her it was a decision he did make lightly. He has been on all sides of the DNA testing issue, from Parker, Melanie and from Maggie. But he saw how terrified Nicole was that her baby would be raised a DiMera , he couldn't put any child through that. Nicole tells him he is wonderful and they embrace.
