Daniel meets Rafe in the Horton Town Square. He hands Rafe a file regarding DNA testing. Daniel questions Rafe if he has thought things through about keeping EJ from knowing he is the father of Nicole's baby. Daniel is certain EJ will eventually find out. Daniel shares his experience with that when he almost bludgeoned Phillip to death with a crucifix in a Church. Rafe agrees things are messed up. He thinks he unknowingly wanted to pay EJ back for all the bad things he has done to him. The conversation turns to Carrie. Daniel tells Rafe he at least owes Carrie the truth. Rafe goes to find Carrie. Daniel wishes him 'good luck'.
