Daniel tries to reason with Nicole that she is indeed pregnant. Nicole wants to believe it is true, but has doubts. She begs Daniel to do the tests again. He agrees. Daniel is surprised to see Jennifer waiting for him in his office. He greets her politely, but keeps an air of reservation about him. He is taken aback when Jennifer tells him that Jack has dumped her. When she leaves, he crumples down into the chair. Later, Daniel has the second tests results ready for Nicole. He is unaware EJ is in her room, but stops himself from revealing any information to EJ. EJ is asked to leave Nicole's room, which he does, but unwillingly. Daniel gives Nicole the news... she is definitely pregnant.
