In Daniel's hotel room, Kristen enters to find that Daniel has escaped. Daniel surprises her from behind the door and wraps his arms around her, cupping her mouth so she can't speak. Kristen manages to get free, but Daniel gets her in a choke hold and squeezes until she passes out. She falls onto the bed. Daniel picks her up and takes her into the hallway. He hears Kristen's thug number 2 coming. He carries Kristen to a supply closet to hide. Daniel realizes that he has no phone. Back in the room both thugs are now scurrying to find Daniel and Kristen.
Daniel stands and moves to the door to check for activity in the hallway. Kristen wakes and starts beating Daniel with a bucket. He falls to the the floor from the attack. Daniel fights back. He wrestles Kristen to the floor. She bites his hand and continues to pummel Daniel. Daniel manages to overpower Kristen. He gags her and ties her up. Outside the door, Kristen's thugs call for her. Kristen grunts out noises. Daniel covers her mouth to stifle her cries. He quiets Kristen down, but the thug has drawn a gun is standing outside the door.
