Kristen still has Daniel tied to the chair in his hotel room. She answers a call from Brady on Daniel's phone. When she hangs up Brady texts back questioning the hang up. Kristen covers her tracks. She texts Brady back that everything is ok. Kristen decides to text all of Daniel's contacts to eliminate people looking for him. Daniel tries to trick Kristen into texting Jennifer, but Kristen rechecks his messages and realizes that Daniel and Jennifer have broken up. Kristen wants to know why. Daniel tells her to go to hell.
Kristen tells Daniel he needs an attitude adjustment. She brings up Melanie and Parker. Daniel immediately jumps to protect his kids. Kristen tells Daniel to relax. She would never hurt kids. She wants to talk about Brady. Daniel realizes that Kristen wants to see Brady and that he is the bait.
