At the Horton house, Liam manged to escape being seen by Daniel and Nicole. Daniel brings the toys into the living room and decides he needs to go through what is age appropriate for Parker. Nicole spots Jennifer's checking book registry and makes fun of her antiquated system. Daniel says he has tried, but kids, he likes being able to talk with Jennifer. They leave with the toys and go to Daniel's apartment to drop off the toys. When they leave, Liam goes back to the computer desk and takes the check registry.
When Daniel and Nicole leave the apartment to go eat, Liam sneaks in with the key Theresa gave him. He puts the checkbook in the box of toys. Liam is trying to make Daniel look bad in Jennifer's eyes.
Nicole and Daniel are eating. Nicole is rambling on about her wedding plans. Daniel asks if she isn't getting a little ahead of herself. Daniel is quiet. Nicole knows he talked with Eric. She pushes him for information. After all, he is supposed to be her friend.
Daniel is quiet. Jennifer and Eric arrive from the wedding. Nicole confronts Eric. She wants to know what Eric told Daniel about them. Eric stares. He is caught off guard.
Daniel and Jennifer leave Eric and Nicole to work things out. Jennifer spots the box of toys and notices her checkbook is in the box. She asks Daniel what he is doing with her checkbook. Daniel looks puzzled.
Meanwhile, Liam has planted surveillance in Daniel's apartment and he is listening to their conversation.
