Daniel and Jennifer are still in bed after a night of romance. Daniel thinks of Parker and how happy he will be having Jennifer back in their lives. But, Daniel also has a concern. He asks Jennifer if this is going to be forever. If she has any doubts at all, she needs to tell him now. He does not want to have Parker fall in love with her and suffer any pain in losing her. Jennifer tells him, it will be forever.
Later, Daniel stops by St. Luke's bake sale. He thanks Hope for never giving up on him and Jennifer. Aiden comes in the door with a box of baked goods. Hope introduces Daniel to Aiden. Daniel thanks him for his help with JJ's case. He invites Aiden to an informal dinner. He also invites Hope. They both graciously agree to attend, but when Daniel leaves, they both announce they will cancel.
Daniel arrives home. He finds Nicole packing. He tells her she doesn't have to leave, but Nicole thinks it is for the best. Daniel still senses that there is something wrong with Nicole. He offers to listen. Nicole tells him that if she tells him, he cannot tell anyone. That includes Jennifer.
