At the Kiriakis mansion, Daniel arrives looking for Brady. Daniel updates Maggie on Brady's relapse into drug use. Daniel heads to the park to find Brady's drug dealer. He comes across Brady being mugged and fights off his attackers. Nicole arrives. They take Brady home.
Maggie talks to Brady. She decides to talk him into going to a meeting. Brady agrees. Nicole tells Daniel that he probably saved Brady's life today. Daniel holds Nicole in his arms. He is unaware that Eric has witnessed the tender moment between Daniel and Nicole.
