Daniel is with Eric explaining how he will proceed in helping Eric to clear his name. Daniel believes there is still traces of the poison Kristen used to poison him residing in his system. Eric will have to undergo a painful procedure. Eric understands and agrees to the procedure. No physical pain could match the emotional pain he has been through.
At the hospital, Eric's procedure has begun. Nicole sees Daniel at the nurse's station. She asks him if Eric agreed to the procedure. Daniel answers yes. He also thanks her for her help in restoring Eric's faith in him. Whatever she told him helped. Nicole tells Daniel, Eric should be grateful he has such a great doctor working on his case.
Daniel is in his office. He reviews Eric's chart. He comes to the conclusion that he will need to find the person who is behind the masking agent scheme that poisoned Eric.. It has to be someone who has a high level of knowledge in toxicology.
