At the park, Daniel confronts Eric about consorting with a known drug dealer. Eric spins a story that he was telling the dealer off. Eric claims he was protecting JJ from buying drugs. Daniel texts JJ to meet him NOW! When JJ arrives at Daniel's apartment, Daniel confronts JJ about buying drugs. He will not stand behind him if he is involved with drugs. JJ tells him Brady was there to buy drugs. JJ does not want to lose Daniel's support. Daniel believes him.
At the hospital, Daniel meets Maggie. She voices her concern about Brady. Daniel excuses himself and sets off to find Brady. When he finds him at the Kiriakis mansion, Daniel announces to Nicole, Brady and Eric that Brady is as high as a kite.
