At the hospital, Daniel clears Rafe to testify at Sami's trial. He asks Rafe how far he will go to protect Sami. Rafe says he will not lie under oath.
Victor catches up with Daniel. They talk about Jennifer and JJ. Victor feels Jennifer will need Daniel's support now more than ever. Victor wants to see Daniel and Jennifer as happy as he and Maggie are.
Later, at Daniel's apartment, Kristen stops by to find out about Jennifer. Daniel tells her what he knows about JJ's arrest. Kristen will go see Jennifer. Before she goes she wants to ask Daniel about fertility doctors. Daniel confirms the two doctors she has picked out are good ones. As they are discussing doctors, Parker knocks Daniel's medical file of Eric on the floor. When Kristin helps pick up the fallen papers, she realizes that Daniel has not given up trying to find out what caused Eric's illness.
