Nicole finds Daniel getting coffee and stops him to ask him how Eric is. Daniel poses the question "why don't you ask him?". Nicole says she can't approach him. Daniel senses that Nicole is ready to move on with her life. Eric has been a good mentor to her. Nicole shows Daniel a business card and tells him she has gotten a job offer in TV production. She wants to know if Eric is ok before she accepts the offer. Daniel tells Nicole she has come a long way, but he still worries about her. He offers to lend an ear if she needs to talk.
At the hospital, Kristen finds Daniel in the lounge. She tells him she is gong through with the fertility testing and has another appointment with the fertility doctor they had discussed earlier. Daniel is happy for her. When Kristen leaves, she drops the doctors card. Daniel calls and leaves her a message. Brady overhears and thinks there is a secret going on between Daniel and Kristen. Daniel tells him there is a difference between a secret and privacy and he should respect Kristen's privacy.
