At the Horton cabin, Daniel and Jennifer's romantic reunion is interrupted when they hear a noise outside the cabin. Daniel gets up to check. Chloe hides behind a tree. Finding nothing, Daniel and Jennifer refire the romance. Later, Daniel gives Jennifer a gift he had been carrying around in his pocket. He wanted to give it to her the last time they were going to go away. It is a necklace, Jennifer's birthstone. Daniel tells her it is special and a one of a kind ~ just like her! Jennifer tells Daniel how happy she is.
Meanwhile, back at Daniel's apartment, distraught Chloe takes a picture of Daniel with Parker off the mantel, holds it in her hand and plots her next move.
Back at the cabin, in front of the fire, Daniel brings Jennifer hot cocoa. She thanks him for fighting for her. He tells her they fought for each other, the fight is over and they kiss.
