At the Kiriakis mansion, Daniel finds Parker and Chloe in the living room. Chloe suggests he finishes reading the book to Parker. When Chloe returns she has news for Daniel. She has taken a job teaching music in Salem. It will allow her to stay in Salem and allow Daniel to see Parker any time he wants. Daniel thanks Chloe for staying in Salem. He will set things up in his place to accommodate Parker too.
At the hospital, Daniel is surprised to see Victor visiting him. Victor wants to know how Daniel is really feeling. Daniel says it is like a dream come true. Victor tries to warn Daniel. He believes Chloe has her eyes set on reuniting with him. Daniel dismisses Victor's concerns. Chloe is already aware that he is building a future with Jennifer.
