Daniel runs into Nicole at the hospital. He invites her to join him for dinner. At first Nicole declines, thinking that Daniel feels obligated after they had impromptu sex earlier in the day. Daniel just wants to get to know her better. Nicole agrees. At dinner Daniel is surprised to learn that Nicole thinks he is too predictable. "Unpredictable" Daniel picks up a nearby guitar and starts serenading Nicole. The dinner ends and Daniel offers to escort Nicole to her car. Nicole declines his offer, feeling he is again obligated to hold her hand and kiss her good. At her request, Daniel bids her good night and walks aaway. Nicole has second thoughts about turning Daniel away and contemplates going after him. But, when she looks up, Daniel has returned. Without a word being spoken, he holds her hand and kisses her good night.
