Daniel finds a woman looking for Bo's room. He introduces himself and finds out the woman is Billie Reed, Chelsea's mom. Daniel tells her that she is not going to like him very much. Billie says she has some opinions on that, but will give him a clean slate if he can make Bo better. Daniel leads Billie into Bo's room and leaves. He later returns to find that Maggie and Victor have joined Billie. Billie comments on Daniel being Maggie's son. Maggie says it was a miracle. Victor says they are going to need another miracle for Bo. Later, Maggie visits Daniel in his office. He senses she is upset. She tells him that she knows how Victor feels, because what if it was her son, Daniel that was injured. Daniel wipes a tear from Maggie's eye and hugs her. He tells her nothing is going to happen to him and he is not going anywhere. The conversation turns to Bo's test results. Bo is not improving. Daniel tells Maggie he has a long road ahead of him.
