Daniel meets with Victor. He tells him of his plans to leave Salem. Daniel calls Melanie and Maggie to meet him at the Brady Pub, where he will break the news to them. Both Melanie and Maggie are heartbroken to hear that Daniel is leaving Salem. Daniel says he needs to save himself right now. Salem holds too many memories of Chloe, Parker and ending his career as a surgeon at the hospital. It is a tearful goodbye.
